In 1952, China Architecture Design & Research Group was founded, formerly known as China’s Central Design Company. In 2000, upon approval from the State Council, China Architecture Design & Research Group was officially organized and founded, and became a China’s large high-tech state-owned enterprise in the charge of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In 2014, China Construction Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. (CCTC) was established upon approval of the State Council, and was planning to become listed in mainland China and make its IPO in the A-share market.

CUCD, subordinate to CCTC, is a comprehensive scientific and technological innovation research and design enterprise in the urban and rural construction industry approved by the State Council. It has more than a dozen professional Class A qualifications for municipal public utilities (environmental sanitation, water supply and drainage, heating, roads and bridges), landscape architecture, construction engineering, urban planning, engineering consulting, civil air defense engineering, special environmental engineering and engineering supervision. From 1985 to 2018, the development and transformation of CUCD for more than 30 years started from the great wave of reforms, devoted to the continuous self-improvement and enthusiastic national reform and construction process, and developed from accumulation to become an outstanding and distinctive urban and rural ecological environment operator. Scientific research standard

After 30 years of rapid development, CUCD has achieved fruitful results in scientific research, planning, design and other aspects:
  • Has successively completed more than 6000 large and medium-sized projects related to urban public facilities planning, scientific research, engineering feasibility studies and design;
  • Prepared and participated in the compilation of more than 350 national and industry standards for urban construction;
  • Presided over the completion of more than 180 national key scientific and technological research projects from the Ninth Five-Year Plan to the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan;
  • Implemented more than 70 key scientific research projects such as national and ministerial-level scientific and technological support projects, and the projects cover more than 100 countries in the world.

  • Urban Planning Society of China Landscape Environmental Planning & Design Academy, China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization Urban Heat Supply Committee, China Association of Urban Environmental Sanitation Domestic Waste Treatment Committee, China Association of Environmental Protection Industry Domestic Waste Treatment Committee, China Society for Urban Studies Eco-city Research Committee, China Society of Urban Economy Low-carbon Intelligent City Committee and others were founded with the support of CUCD.
